Meet the Doctor
Dr Hurst began his dental practice in Colorado after graduation from Creighton University in 1981. For the past 38 years he has been a member of the American Dental Association and has been very active in organized dentistry, having served as the Past President of both the Colorado Dental Association and the Metro Denver Dental Society.
He is currently a Colorado Dental Association states spokesperson on dental issues and has voiced our concerns to our Senators and Congressmen in Washington D.C. Dr. Hurst is in his 13th year of attending the Colorado Mission of Mercy (COMOM), where cost free dental care is given to underserved patients throughout the state.
His numerous awards include, Volunteer of the Year and The William Spurgeon Award for his 10 year involvement in "Explorer Post 296". This program helped propel many students to become Dentists, Hygienists and Dental Assistants.
Teaching patients about preventative care and explaining their options when they need it has been his focus since day one. His goal is for you and your family to enjoy a lifetime of smiles and good dental health.
Dr Hurst is an avid runner who enjoys 10k's and half marathons. He takes advantage of Colorado's healthy climate by skiing, mountain biking and golfing; sometimes, all in the same month!
